Tanilba House is the most magical, photogenic wedding venue! Dee & Glenn make planning a wedding extremely easy and stress free from start to finish, they work with all vendors and make sure the day goes exactly as you hope for! Not to mention they are super nice, cool people in general! It’s a total win. The accommodation at Tanilba House is lovely and cosy. Our day was perfect in every way. Dee and Glenn are the perfect hosts. Understood my wife and I completely and hosted the most enjoyable wedding I've ever been to ( and no I'm not biased because it was mine ). Having grown up in tilligerry it's so nice to see life being breathed back into the property and I love that our big day is now part of the energy that's been through the house.Cannot recommend this highly enough as a wedding venue. My wife and I just celebrated our reception there and honestly it was an amazing experience! Dee and Glen made the whole planning phase such a breeze and they nailed our vision for a lovely relaxed night to just spend quality time with friends and family.We had a lot going on family wise so unfortunately we were a bit strapped for planning every little detail so we opted to trust in Dee and Glen for the little things like the setup and overall vibe. They corresponded with us and got our inputs on the finer details but all in all they nailed the whole vibe we wanted.
The night was a huge success and could not fault any of the services (they have very good contacts regarding weddings) and to boot we got the accommodation (maids quarters) which was amazing to sleep the night after a big day.So yeah, fantastic night that was very stress-free and it was made possible thanks to the prep work that Tanilba House offered!Ashley & John
I went here for my friend’s wedding and it was the best wedding i have ever been to. Great location, beautiful well kept grounds, Immaculate old fashioned Australian building, felt like a home away from home. A lot of love and respect has definitely been put into this place and the owners treat you like family. I’ll definitely be having my own wedding there……. Just need to find a potential wife now 😜Jason

The magic of Tanilba House, these are five words that describe how we felt on the day, including our family and friends. Though nothing would have been possible without the owners, Dee and Glenn, they must have magic wands or dust or something because they were the ones that made our wedding day so memorable. From our first meeting Dee and Glenn were able to put our minds at ease with all the elements of arranging our wedding day, caterers, florists, cake, hairdressers, makeup artists, photographers and etc even accommodation, from the get go nothing was too hard everything was simple.We were given a tour of the property so to choose a location for the ceremony and the reception, what can I say, we were both in awe. The property is stunning. It does not matter where you stand it has character, every spot is perfect!On the day of the wedding, again what can I say? Perfection! Dee and Glenn had coordinated everything to a T, they are true professionals, and everything went so smoothly, even the weather held out, no rain!!We may have returned to reality and the grind of everyday life but the magic of that day will remain with us for the rest of our lives.Our warmest thanksGeorgina and Emanuel
If you want a venue that is charming, unpretentious, personal and makes you and your guests feel at ease, then Tanilba House is for you.The garden and building’s rustic character caught us immediately. The venue has everything on-site, with many options for an outdoor ceremony, photoshoot and an open-bar reception. There’s even an indoor wet-weather option. We were shattered when rain caused us to shift our garden party to inside but turns out it was the best thing that could’ve happened. The indoor Conservatory facilitated a comfortable intimacy amongst our guests, it even had a dance floor and the house speakers meant there was no need for an added cost of DJ or musicians. The room enabled our guests to mingle with ease and comfort.The owners/hosts, Dee and Glen are a wonderful balance of personalities. Dee has an excellent eye for styling which we trusted without hesitation, and Glenn was able to find lots of solutions for things. They offer a variety of vendor options and drinks packages, tailored to the type of wedding you want, so it’s worth having a chat to them.
Dee and Glenn made us and our guests feel completely welcomed. Our guests haven’t stopped raving about how lovely and warm it all felt. From our first meeting with Dee, we felt like we were in reliable hands and her flexibility for new ideas only ever grew. Both Dee and Glenn were committed to providing a wonderful wedding day experience.
They were able to pivot around unexpected obstacles with the grace of experienced professionals - even welcoming our guests with a beverage while we waited for the rain to clear for the ceremony and following weather apps regularly on their phone. We look forward to following their couples and weddings on Facebook and Instagram.

Not a day goes by that I am not grateful, thankful and full of joy to be married to my best friend! He is the first one I want to see in the morning and the last one I want to see at night! Days spent by his side are my absolute favourite!Being able to marry and celebrate with such joy at Tanilba House was truly a special and memorable day for all the best reasons. Speedy responses to emails and very flexible to meet up at times that worked for us. It was fabulous to meet on the site of Tanilba House, being able to see the spaces, options and the absolute gorgeousness that laid ahead. Tanilba House was unlike any venue we visited or searched! It is so natural, and the beauty of the blossoms, trees and age old house seeps elegant extraordinary beauty! Dee and Glenn have worked endlessly and with such skill and delicateness to restore the house to an incredible quality that keeps as much as possible to the character for the era it was built. The furnishings are antiques that respect the time the house was built! There are so many special spaces it so hard to choose your favourite. We loved being able to incorporate every space spreading out from the gorgeous deck into the yard and out to the long vine covered arbour! We were able to scatter rugs throughout the lawn space and bring yard games. We set up an oyster bar and loaded the spaces with vases of flowers everywhere. And our favourite was stringing up some flannel flowers that we had dried over the months. Its truly a most unique space that will let your creativity create your day just how you dream. The fairy lights strung in every space make it feel so dreamy as the sun sets. Leaving at the end of the night looking back to the house it just overwhelmed us how blessed we were to have our wedding celebration in such a unique magnificently special home!Thank you Dee, Glenn and Lynda for making it truly a most wonderful day for us we will appreciate it with our whole heart for the rest of our days! Well where do I start, we got hitched and took the plunge in one of the most picturesque locations I can think of. Tanilba House is a one of a kind venue with many unique aspects to it.Having a wedding at a heritage listed property never really crossed our minds until we started to research venues. Most of these types of properties are not close to the water, and aren’t able to offer to versatility that Tanilba House does. With a variety of package options to choose from Tanilba House along with its owners Dee and Glen and event Co-ordinator Lynda Prescott made the choice easy.Absolutely no regrets and rate this venue and its team accordingly. This venue is truly beautiful inside and out. We had our wedding here and couldnt be happier. The hosts were very obliging to ensure everything went smoothly. If you are after a romantic venue with indoor and outdoor options then you cant go past Tanilba House!Donna M

My new husband and I were lucky enough to experience our wedding at Tanilba House recently. There are no words to describe how beautiful our wedding was. Tanilba House has so many different facets to it. One side overlooks the water, yet walking around the grounds, you could find yourself in a bush setting under an old mulberry tree or under a beautiful arbour encased in fairy lights. It is a simply gorgeous venue that has that whimsical feeling to it. The owners Glenn and Deidre, were so lovely and accommodating to us. We could not sing their praises higher. They are genuine, down to earth, helpful people who had us at the forefront of their minds in everything they did. After hearing some bridal nightmare stories about other venues, we didn't know what to expect but any expectation we had, they exceeded it. Beautiful place for a ceremony and reception. Many of our guests gave feedback about how much they loved everything about Tanilba House. The food was delicious, the ambiance was on point and the night was nothing short of spectacular. We also had a dedicated on-site wedding coordinator who was simply amazing. She was there every single time we needed her. We highly recommend this venue. We attended a wedding here last night. It was a great night. The venue was unique and inviting. The ceremony held beneath a canopy of trees was intimate and calming. The food was great and the service was excellent. This place is in a bit of a remote place but very accessible by car. We got a taxi there from our hotel which was near the airport. We booked the same taxi and driver to go back to the hotel. When we called the taxi driver who dropped us off, he told us he was to far away. We called the Taxi service but they could not help us. So there were 6 of us stranded for 2 hours.The owners of this place came to us after packing up and offered to drive us back to the hotel, which they did. Going above and beyond after a very busy night for them.We were very grateful and sincerely thank you for doing this. If I could give 10 stars I would. Once again thank you! Awesome venue with the nicest owners/hosts! Just attended a friend's wedding, and it was a fantastic day and night. The owners have done an amazing job with this unbelievably historic property, and no one who attended the event could fault their attention to detail, or enthusiasm for their business. Even with the Covid restrictions hanging over everything they do, they made everything manageable and enjoyable. Definitely recommend this venue for anyone with wedding plans in the future.Damian Wood

Highly recommend. Attended a wedding last Saturday 13th March with my wife and some friends. Location stunning, Attention to detail was seen and appreciated. Staff were warm, friendly and ensured that we felt welcome. The wedding party looked awesome in this unique setting. The wedding took place under a huge fig tree and surrounded by flora and fauna. and (the sound of the bag pipes ). Such a beautiful and rustic setting that I'm sure the Bride & Groom with remember for ever. The food was just right nothing pretentious, service was attentive but not intrusive. This venue is definitely worth your consideration if your looking for a wedding venue. They also offer other functions including high tea.After such a wonderful day, we all made our way to leave however we ran into some trouble as our taxi let us down and we were stranded and unable to get back to our hotel. Well after midnight and starting to feeling despondent the owners Glenn and Deidre were our saviors' as they very generously offered and drove us in 2 separate cars back to our hotel. Talk about going above and beyond!! this act of kindness is and was very much appreciated and their generosity speak volumes. I was lucky enough to get married to my soulmate on 21/03/2020 at Tanilba House in their beautiful gardens! To say our day was perfect would be a complete understatement! Such an incredible location, the effort from everyone involved with our wedding from beginning to end was second to none! Our wedding planner Lynda did such an amazing job making sure everything ran smoothly from our very first meeting to last minute changes and making sure that we were happy and had everything we needed! Glenn and Dee worked tirelessly, to welcome us into their property and make sure everything was set up and ran smoothly! I couldn’t recommend Tanilba House as a wedding venue enough - what I love about Tanilba House is that it is a beautiful venue with so many areas to have different parts of the ceremony and reception. There is wet weather options in case of rain. I chose a package which included amazing food! Nothing was ever a problem at Tanilba, what makes the venue truely special are the people - Lynda, Dee and Glenn who went out our their way to make our wedding magical! Our wedding at Tanilba House recently was everything we had hoped and more!! A big thank you to Dee and Glenn for help making our special day run so smoothly. After seeing the venue first time we immediately knew this was the place we wanted to have our wedding. Following one of the High Teas, we were decided. We love the heritage house and its rich history, the gorgeous, extensive garden and all of the hidden spaces around the property to explore. Dee and Glenn are so knowledgeable about the house and its history as both caretakers and residents, and truly welcomed us into their home. During our late Spring wedding we had star of jasmine blossoming and the jacarandah petals falling, but the garden blooms all year round and you are guaranteed to have brilliant backdrop all year round. Not only amazing hosts, but the perfect wedding organisers – from drinks to decorating, setting everything up on the day and packing it down. Our whole wedding experience was seamless from start to finish, we didn't have to worry about a thing! We were fortunate to stay overnight in the maids quarters and even catch the amazing sun rise over the water and Tanilba House. Our guests were stunned by the whole evening, and couldn't have imagined a better wedding day at Tanilba House.Blake & Caitlen
